So, Dewi is a name? I thought it was a play on "Duo Lingo."

Would "nos da" be used as a greeting in the post-evening hours, as something you say before you head off to bed, or both?

It is very often the greeting of heading off to bed, or saying goodbye in the evening. It's used on the TV at the end of formal programmes like the news. It's never a greeting used to meet people in the evening. A formal greeting in the evening would be 'Noswaith dda'.
