"Fasai hi ddim yn well gyda Siân, ond fasai'n well gyda Gareth fynd?"

Translation:Siân would not prefer, but would Gareth prefer to go?

This is a bizarre sentence. I translated is as 'Would Siân prefer not, but would Gareth prefer to go?' since I assumed the question referred to both Siân and Gareth. Can it be translated this way too? I admit in English it sounds odd - does the Welsh also sound odd?

It is odd, and it has been removed from the course, but the deletion has not yet filtered through.
