Where did the Russian alphabet go?

I started Russian and it is necessary for me to repeat lessons because I don't remember everything.

However to my dismay, I noticed that Duo must have felt sorry for me and transliterated Russian letters into English letters. For example, the Russian word for "NO" should look like: "HET" in Cyrillic letters but is was changed to "NYET". "MOИ" was changed to "MOI" and so on.

There have been similar changes to the other Russian letters in the first lesson, Alphabet. Am I doing something wrong? If so please somebody help me correct my error or is this normal when you repeat a lesson in Russian?

I can't fault Duo for being too obvious on this one. I see the little, dimly lit slider at the top of the page. Now I know thanks to all of you.If I were advanced enough I'd say "Thank you" in Russian, but I'm still working on the alphabet.

"Спасибо" is the word :-) If you're really enthusiastic, you can say "спасибо большое" or even "спасибо огромное".

When you have to type something (maybe it's not limited to typing but that's the first thing that came up for me), next to the "tips & notes" theres a button/slider selection that allows you to enable the Russian keyboard.

Some other kind Duo person told me: At the top left of your screen you'll see a faint switch that is either set to Aa (meaning the transliteration to the Latin alphabet) or Яя (meaning Cyrillic alphabet only).
