Is there a difference between the pronunciation of "chai" and "chay"?

Of course, yes.
⟨ai⟩ - /aj/ and ⟨ay⟩ - /ăj/

So, chai - /caj/ while chay - /căj/

Không có chi! You're welcome!

Haha, that's 不客气, right? Vietnamese is fun! ^^

They are nearly equal. Literally, 不客气 is bất khách khí (don't be ceremonious) when translated into Vietnamese. Không có gì or Không có chi means Nothing.
