Isn't "Vuon Tre" or "Nha Tre " legit ?

EDIT: Vuong -> Vuon

Both, and it's "vườn trẻ" (not vuong)

They're still okay. I've added them.

Hmm, vườn trẻ and nhà trẻ, I think they are daycare centers, which are different from kindergarten, aren't they?

Asked my parents about this, they said that "mẫu giáo" is different from the traditional kindergarten. Here in Norway, kindergartens primary goal is to "babysit" the kids for the working parents and socialize them. Whilst "mẫu giáo" is more "academical", meaning it is more like an preparation fro school.

Isn't it supposed to be "The child is at kindergarten"?(As in school)

Đứa trẻ thì ở trường mẫu giáo. Is it ok?

I guess there is some difference between 'kindergarten' and 'preschool' but they seem to be used interchangeably. So this should be accepted imo: 'Đứa trẻ ở trường mầm non'
