1- Attempt > intentar

2- Brick > ladrillo

3- Chew > masticar

4- Dishearten > desanimado

5- Fright > susto

6- Gleam > brillo, destello

7- Grief > dolor

8- Horns > cuernos

9- Queer > raro

10- Ram > carnero

11- Scarcely > apenas

12- Sudden > inesperado

13- Thunderstruck > estupefacto

14- Tie > atar, corbata

15- Uneasy > inquieto, incómodo

16- Whether > Si (condicional)

¿Conocías antes el significado de estas palabras?, ¿Con qué frecuencia las utilizas? / ¿Did you know the meaning of these words?, ¿How often do you use them?

So, I will give 6 lingots for every included word... In the language you're learning (spanish or english): ¿Puedes hacer un ejemplo original con cada una de estas palabras? / ¿Can you make an original example with every one of these words?

(Y, por supuesto, agradezco las donaciones voluntarias a los participantes del anterior foro, ¡siempre es una gran motivación!)

Dejo una pequeña historia. ¡Qué complicado el queer y el grief!

In an attempt of building a brick wall on the farm, Mike and Joe took a break to eat lunch. When chewing their meal, all of sudden a ram broke in.

"Look at that goat," said Joe. "What a fright!"

"You are a beast," replied Mike, grinning.

Joe looked thunderstruck. "Those horns make me feel uneasy."

Mike looked at the ram with a gleam in his eyes. "Hey," he shouted. "Let's get you out of here."

He tied the rope expertly. The disheartened ram did not resist, but somehow showed grief.

"He surely only wants to eat, he's scarcely doing anything," said Joe. "Let him stay."

"What? You were just saying he made you uncomfortable. And it's not your call whether he should stay or not."

"Whatever, queer," Joe whispered.

If i were good to tie a raw it would be good but i get fright to tie an animal even if is great or small they become uneasy i feel dishearten because I do not like animals suffer by humans who attempt to end with the environment: They prefer a brick to build a wall instead a plant that it'll become a tree some day, but i hope humans change suddently to realize the environment scarcely support all our pollution.

Before litter I think about the future generation may will be thunderstruck because of all pollution and see that our generation didn't care of eat better or eat a slaughtered animal.

PD I don't need lingost i just wrote this for someone else who knows more english and tell me what's wrong.

disheartened because I do not want animals to suffer because of humans, who attempt to destroy the environment: They prefer to use a brick to build a wall instead a plant, because one day that plant will become a tree, but I hope humans change and realize that the environment is scarcely able to support our world.

Ps. I don't need lingots, I just wrote this for someone else who knows more english, so they can tell me what's wrong.
