Why is this preferred to "Wyt ti'n hoffi cerdded?"

They are exactly equivalent translations of the English and are both accepted. At the beginning of the course for the sake of simplicity we chose to only use 'dych chi' for 'you are' and 'are you' as the phrase is the same apart from intonation.

Later on we introduce 'rwyt ti' for 'you are (informal and singular) and 'wyt ti?' for are you?

Why is " Wyt ti'n moyn cerdded?ยท wrong?

That is the wrong word for 'liking':

  • hoffi, licio - liking
  • eisiau - want; moyn - wanting
