Two French courses at once

Hi, I just wanted to ask - is it possible to do English->French and German->French courses at the same time? I am approaching the end of the English->German tree and German->French sounded like a good continuation possibility. My guess is that it is not possible within one profile...which is a bit unfortunate, though.

Yes, you can do this, but to change between the courses you need to go to the course page and click "Switch to Course", and every time you change your native language it only shows the languages you take from that language, so when you go back to English everything is still there, but from French it will appear like it is missing.

You can see here different methods for it to be faster/easier.

Update [2017/05/02]: here a script allowing an easy and quick Switch between courses.

Thank you! I haven't heard of the JS method, those are all helpful examples, thank you.

Well, a level of difficulty was to be expected. I'm curious about how does it calculate your language level then? Will my profile change when I switch the native language? Then it is no different from having two separate profiles.

Not really:

  • you don't have to logout/login each time you want to change course.
  • [far less important] one account = 1 streak to maintain VS. 2 accounts = 2 streaks

Everything will change into French, the Homepage, tabs, the timestamps on the posts, but if you go into the forums and look at any of your comments, you can see that your languages are still there, but you are in a different, as you said "profile", but still in the same profile, because you can't see the languages you are taking from English, only the ones that are being taken from French.
