Splitting lessons

Is it possible to split lessons? I would like to assign dates and times but I want to split it into 2 or 3 lessons not 70 minutes at once. Is that possible. I just want them to do times now and dates another week.

Do you assign the whole 70 min for a day then? Is there any way that I can adjust their profile to 30 min a day? I just feel like 70 min is a lot!

Do you assign the whole 70 min for a day then?

You assign the whole skill.
But you can define the deadline when you want, so if you find 7 lessons is too much, give your students 2-3-..-10 days to do it.

Is there any way that I can adjust their profile to 30 min a day?

No, your student do what they want, work how long they want. But they know they have to complete the assignments before the deadline you fixed.

Try the skill with your own account, you'll see that Duo's evaluation of the duration (=10min per lesson) is very pessimistic.

One lesson can be validated in 1 min (with only correct answers). So, in case the student makes mistakes, it'll maybe take them 3-5min to validate a lesson. 10min per skill seems very very pessimistic to me.
But take the skill to make your own opinion.

Duo's evaluation is simply a rough:

  • 10min per lessons in the first third of the tree
  • 12min per lessons in the second third of the tree
  • 15min per lessons in the last third of the tree
