Finished the Russian tree
Hi! I've never really felt a need to make posts like "HEYYY!! I've just finished the ... tree!!!!!!!!!" so I hope I won't end up making one. I've never really posted anything like that after finishing any of my trees but now I feel I need to say a few words.
I really wanted to express my gratitude and admiration for the Russian course team. I think it was the best course I've taken here so far, at least I will remember it this way for a few reasons. (I put the main two in the PS in case someone is interested because if I didn't no one would probably read this post :))
It was a great experience and I loved the Russian language more than I thought I would (except some cough PHONETICS cough things). I will definitely come back to it and learn it in-depth in future. After finishing this tree I have one of the best foundations for further learning compared to other courses.
On this occasion I also wanted to thank all the people who helped me with some things I didn't understand or was too lazy to look up for a little more time (to all those who helped me with the Danish tree, too!). But really, again, большое спасибо to all the contributors! You did an extraordinary job and should be proud of it!
I really liked the 'liberal' approach to the translations. It was more indulgent when I forgot to type some little word or a letter (which is often frustrating especially when you know how it should look like, and I'm not talking only about articles), accepting a lot of indirect translations, or the fact that I was able to type 'veggie' instead of 'vegetable'! :D (God thanks that almost all courses accept 'paper' instead of 'newspaper'). It may seem like they're very small and insignificant things but they made learning much more pleasant.
The Russian grammar notes were definitely the best! I just loved them! Loved all those cultural or semantical explanations (especially those 3-line paragraphs because I was often too lazy to read every detail of the longer ones :D). Perhaps this memory would be less positive if I had to get through all those Russian inflection tables which I usually omitted (a little advantage of speaking Polish :)))
I could list a few more things but it's already definitely too long.
Здорово, друг. Я хочу изучать Русский тоже. ^^. But it's pretty difficult.
I've been learning it for a week. I guess that's what it seems difficult. I'm also learning to be patient. ))
and I can understand most of Bulgarian without studying it https://bg.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A0%D1%83%D1%81%D0%B8%D1%8F Russian and Bulgarian are very similar
I wish that I had enough time to finish my Russian tree. But I can't, I finished my English tree. However,... I'll try :))
I think you shouldn't stop working on some tree regularly and at least do very little if you don't have motivation or time. I see you have a great streak. Good luck with maintaining it!
Молодец и поздравляю!
Also, thanks for the feedback on the tree, it's nice to know how it compares to others.
Congratulations! But did you find the Comment/Report button while you use PC App studying it? Cuz I could't find:(
On the web is okay, but PC APP from windows store doesn't have this function
I don't know, I use it on the web. You should report it to some technical support. There should be some option to do it there. If not, you can post in the 'techical issues' forum here.
