"Yes we can" sounds like "yes" in English, French and Hebrew. Just a thought.

I heard "Aye, yes, we can see the sea" (Japanese, English, french, Hebrew, Spanish, Russian, Italian). Also: https://www.reddit.com/r/Jokes/comments/1rna91/an_englishman_a_frenchman_a_spaniard_and_a_german/

"aye" is not yes in Japanese so this isn't that clever.

yeah, more correct would be "hi, yes we can see the sea"

Reminds me of the old saying. Foreign Devil, "Is it true that there's no word for yes or no in Chinese?" Chinese gentleman, "I think perhaps maybe"

I was just thinking, "yes we כן!" as a mnemonic.

    Duolingo usually disregards punctuation

    https://www.duolingo.com/profile/NaftaliFri1

Maybe it's a translation exercise and you need to write "yes"

I type the correct Hebrew (.ק) in &continue to get it wrong. What am I missing?

    https://www.duolingo.com/profile/danny912421

Well, you are writing the wrong letter. You wrote ק which is one letter - kof. The answer is כן - two letters kaf and final nun.

    https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Away54

    כ + ן = כן.

    Thanks, danny912421! :))

    I thought It's a "qof" at first :D

    https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Fearthepuppy

I put this one down but the way it shows up on my keyboard looks a little different so it didn't register it as correct (ק)

    https://www.duolingo.com/profile/MauriceBar963567

    I don't have a Hebrew keyboard ☹️

    https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Rodrigo667946

Is these letters a כ (kaf) and a ן (vav), correct?? And it is a point . Or this point is part of the word .כן

    https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Elias103541

You were right about כ being kaf. ן is a final nun, not vav (ו). The period is just punctuation.

    https://www.duolingo.com/profile/ItsShizzyQ

I wrote "Yes" but it marked it wrong why?

    https://www.duolingo.com/profile/danny912421

There could have been a number of reasons for that to happen. Without a screenshot, where it would actually be seen what happened, nobody can help you, I'm afraid.
