When does one use the nifal נזכר vs. the qal זכר?

What's wrong with it?
That it’s awkwardly phrased. ‘Before the spaceship was launched’ sounds ten times better.
Or "the spaceship launched"

Because of a misspelled האסטרונאוט with a final ת instead of ט my translation was rejected. A bit severe I think.
I agree, should have been a typo with no penalty. Unless there was some other mistake you didn't notice. Happens to me all the time.
