is it just me or can you not here the ת at the end?
I can't hear it too.
I reported it
I can hear it but it's pretty faint.
So "this plate" would be הצלחת הזאת?
Ditto about pronunciation. On Forvo, the final "t" is clearly heard. Is this a variant ?
Confusing. T inaudible.
This is a plate would be זה צלחת wouldn't it?
It's feminine, hence זאת
I can't hear it either.
If it ends with "תו" it is plural, so why the translate is this and not these
It doesn't. "זה" is masculine and "זאת" is feminine. Both are singular. It seems to be an exception so memorize it.
Would there be any difference in translation between "this is a plate" or "that is a plate"? (Basically can זה/זאת be either this or that?)
