What is the difference between Bahnhof and Station?
"die Station" is never "the station" where the trains take off. It is either "the train/bus/etc. stop", or "a (medical) ward".
"Bahnhof" is for trains or busses. "Station" is a ward f.i. "die Intensivstation" is the Intensive Care Unit.
"Station" can also mean "stop" as in "train stop", but funnily enough not "bus stop".
So do you think that "the station is new" should be incorrect, and should in fact be "the stop is new"?
No, I don't think it is wrong. I immediately thought of a new medical ward. It's common to say "Station" for that in German.
Yeah, but the English translation doesn't say "ward".
Well, then it should be reported and added, wouldn't you agree?
