Paying to Get "Streak" Back
This is my second attempt to post this question. Due to issues at home I forgot to do my lesson two days in a row. The first day was covered by my "Streak Freeze" but the second wasn't and I got a message saying if I pay $13.99 it would return my streak to me. I paid via iTunes but nothing has corrected itself. Can you tell me what is wrong? Is there something else I have to do?
I had replied to ErasureDin's comment about paying the cost for a "silly number" but I'm not sure why I can't see it here now. Basically what I'd said was that although I also feel it's a lot of money for a Streak Repair, I have not indulged in anything with sugar or alcohol for about three months and I felt entitled to "spoil" myself. My Streak number is a huge motivator for me and I've been so grateful to Duolingo for the free lessons that a bit of money spent on this issue was okay with me. I do, however, want to get what I was promised for the money that was taken off of my credit card. It's only fair I think.
Just changed my "Topic" to Troubleshooting as suggested. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the tip.
this has never happened to me. i have missed days and this option has never appeared.maybe if what lrtward says doesent work, scroll to the bottom of the screen and select help. it might not be there
The option is - so far - only available on the iOS app. And it might be that not even all iOS users get it while it is being tested.
You should edit your post (don't create a new one, please) and change the topic from "Duolingo" to "Troubleshooting". Hopefully someone there can help you out. I've not ever used the streak repair feature.

Hello bchan, Also related to this, I had purchased a "streak freeze", which I checked was active on one day that I missed. I came back the day after and found my streak had disappeared, and the streak freeze was shown as purchased, but it did not prevent my 430+day streak from disappearing. Could you please look into this? Many thanks
To bchan : I sent the receipt as requested. Didn't get a reply back so just want to make sure you received it okay...?
Similar problem for me but I can't select either repair streak and pay or click on "no thanks". The app is frozen on that screen. I can do lessons on the website but the app is stuck.
