DuoLingo should give you the correct answer to the last question if you run out of time.

If you are doing a timed practice, when you click "review lesson" afterwards, it won't show you the final question if you ran out of time. This means if you failed the question because, say, you were trying to remember a word, you have to manually go and look that word up.

It would be convenient if the correct answer was visible as part of the "review lesson" screen.

Yes, I agree. Sometimes, there's this weird bug that allows you to press skip in the time that Duolingo is loading to the next screen. Pressing the "skip" button allows you to see the correct answer, albeit for a very short time.

Well, whenever I don't know what the word means, I hover my mouse over the word. It gives you a few meanings the word could be, (Some words have feminine and masculine meanings and such.) I've been doing French as well. It doesn't give you the correct answer to any questions that you didn't get to yet because you haven't actually done those questions.

That works fine if practising without a timer, but not so much in timed-practice. Then, one doesn't have the time to spare, so it's better to look up the meanings after the practice, in the review screen. However, if the timer runs out, you are taken away from the current question, so you can't mouseover to get the definition, and it's left out of the review screen.

My proposal is that when you "time out" on a question, it should be considered an incorrect answer, but the correct answer should be shown in the review screen.

I meant in timed practice as well. Although i do it and type so fast that I still gain lots of time, I agree. The "timed out" question should be considered incorrectly answered and give the correct answer.

I see you're learning French as well, keep up the good work!

I agree. And it would be awesome if the "review lesson" screen also had links to the phrases discussions!
