French tree - done! And I want more! :)

Salut à toutes et à tous!

I just finished the French tree, and it was a great journey up and it made me a true Duolingo fan!

I want to keep my progress and reach level 25 in French, but I am a bit lost how exactly can i do it? I did some research and found some usefull advices, like practice more :))) Well it works! I also liked the advice to study vice-versa (english from french). But, really, do I need just repeat and repeat to get level 25?

I am interested in Immersion, but Immersion Tab does not appear in menu.

Now I am at level 14 in French and 64%, looking forward to get level 25 and 100%. Is it possible on Duolingo?

Thanks for answers in advance!

Congratulations!

Moi, je ne pense pas qu'il soit possible atteindre 100% aisance, mais il est possible d'atteindre le niveau 25.

If you want to learn more you need to do the reverse tree, English from French, good luck.

I'm currently at level 22. When you say do the reverse tree, how does that work?

You go to All Courses section, choose I speak French (instead of I speak English), and then pick a course English for French speakers. Like You study English through French.

You could do the reverse which helps - and if you don't remember you can go back to the English-French way to relearn

In theory, you can only get to 60% fluency max. See https://support.duolingo.com/hc/en-us/articles/205933480-What-does-my-Fluency-Score-mean-

However, in reality (as you have noticed) the fluency score can get above 60% if you have been plugging away at the language in question. My French fluency used to be mid-60s as I worked my way up to level 25 (without immersion, it just took time!) but is now down to 61% because I spend most of my time on other languages. I remember reading a comment on some other thread from someone claiming to have surpassed 70%.

Thank you, now I feel OK with 64% , and it's not the numbers what matters, right?

For immersion, see if you can access it by following this link: https://www.duolingo.com/translations

Thanks for the link, but it reports error 404.

More?? You want more?

Never before has a boy wanted more!
Won't ask for more when he knows what's in store.

There a dark, thin, winding stairway
Without a banister
Which we'll throw him down, and feed him on
Cockroaches served in a canister

Never before has a boy wanted more!
Won't ask for more
When he knows what's in store.

Congratulations! Well done! Reaching level 25 would be a lot of practice with no immersion. But I do find doing the verbs over and over again to be very useful, as well as repeating the topics I found difficult the first time. Good luck!
