"vai com a cara".

"Ir com a cara" means something like "have affinity".

"Eu não vou com a cara dele" = I don't like him = I don't like his way of being = Our spirits don't match ....something like that.

But "se dar bem com" is more than "ir com a cara" (have affinity), it's to have good relations.
