"Dych chi'n clywed y radio?"

Translation:Do you hear the radio?

June 29, 2016

Is this literally asking if the other person can hear the radio (because they might be too far away or the volume too low) or is this the usual way of asking if someone listens to the radio (as something they might like to do)?

clywed - to hear, hearing

gwrando ar - to listen to, listening to

So this is asking if they hear it.

That clears it up! Thanks!
