With a draw scraper, file and paper clip, apparently.

I hear היא עדיין without separation, like ידיין which I don't know if it is a word but it remind me of ידיים.

Me too that's what I heard and wrote because this is totally how it sounds.

So, she is a harmonica maker?

I don't know, but my husband, who has a lot of harmonicas, says you can't tune one.

Edited to add: Perhaps that's why she's still (trying to) tune it. Somehow the sound got ruined while she was making it, and she's trying to fix it.

I think this reinforces my theory that this chapter was written by non-musicians. A single note does not have a key, and harmonicas cannot be tuned

They can though. You have to take them apart and use a paper clip to gently cut a little bit of the the reeds. The shorter a reed is the higher pitch it produces. Some professional harmonicists love to customise their harmonicas this way

? I didn't know you could tune a harmonica.

In English, "she still is tuning the harmonica" and "she is still tuning the harmonica" are both correct. The former suggests she has been at it for quite awhile.
