What's the difference between "תודה" and "תודה לך"?
Thanks vs. thanks to you. The later being a bit more formal or effusive.
How do you pronounce this?
Toda lecha, Tal
You were downvoted but i think you are correct?
They added a word.
So? Is it /toda lekha/ ?
@ ReiGuth: Depending on the exercise, this sentence sometimes shows up with "lekha":
תודה לך טל
For example, that was the only correct answer for me in a "select the answer" exercise.
I can only find it with an added "rabah" (very much). But if we ignore that, it seems you are correct :-)
The sentence above doesn't have "lekha" in it.
What does this one have to do with animals?
Tal agreed to take care of the speaker's puppy for a week while he is going on a vacation in Berlin. So he said "תודה" to her. ;)
