When expressing location in the third person, "Van" (or "Nincs", if a negative sentence), is always used.
I'm not a native speaker, but I think "Fent van a lámpa" sounds better. I feel like my sentence is neutral and Duolingo's sentence is emphasizing It is the lamp that is above. Will a native please comment on this?
