I'm really enjoying the Russian course so far, relearning a lot of the language that I forgot. I think it would be really great if all of the Russian sentences had the stress marked in each word. Currently, it seems like stress is only marked on the individual vocabulary words and in the "Tips and notes" section. Stress patterns are very difficult to learn but are also really important, for example when the stress shifts between different forms of the same noun. Typically stress is marked in textbooks and other materials for learners of Russian as a foreign language. I know that you can listen for the stress when the sentences are pronounced, but it really helps to be able to both see and hear the stress. Thanks for the course and I hope you consider this request.
It would be great but it is safe to say this feature will never be implemented.
Why? Duolingo cannot correctly compare vowels having the stress mark with the vowels typed by the user?
