heeft is for hij/zij/het (3rd person singular) and hebt is for jij (2nd person singular). They are different because hebben (to have) is an iregular verb in dutch. Have a look at the Tips and notes with the "Basics 2" skill: www.duolingo.com/skill/dn/Basics-2
