I'm not sure whether it has any children's books, but Project Gutenberg has a handful of Swedish books here: https://www.gutenberg.org/browse/languages/sv

Yeah, it does, but it's hard to look for every title to get an idea of what the book is about. Thanks.

I just downloaded an e book from Bokus ( ie Dito) (you must "change it" to read on your Kindle , so far I can only read it on my "PC Kindle" , but I'm hopeless with computers !!

Here you go: http://en.childrenslibrary.org/

There are five Swedish books there. http://www.childrenslibrary.org/icdl/ResultByWorld?area=4&start=0&pgct=12&ilangcode=en&ilang=English&view=cover&sort=title&type=0&country=country15

The most known ís Kattresan, Cat journeys. I absolutely hated it as a kid since the cat split open. OK, it survived but still...

Or you can contact the big library i Stockholm. https://biblioteket.stockholm.se/en/language/english-engelska I have no idea if you can get a log in to loan Swedish books but you can always ask. And if you do, please let me know how it went!

That website is fine but you can't really download the books. Thank you anyway. I've read the loaning rules of the Stockholm library and I found nothing about over-seas loaning. I believe that you have to transact a library card in the library; since I'm in México that is impossible for me.

I am living in Spain and they were able to make a logg in for me. OK, I am a Swedish and have an address to my parents home. The card was not that necessary, though. But it would be interesting to know the policy to foreigners applications.

Hi again,

I got a reply but it was a non-reply, so to speak. I will contact them again for better answer. Might take a while since I am going on vacation now

But another tip is http://bibblix.se/. It is an app (Iphone and Android) with only children's books for children, i e children review and write about the books which is GREAT! You can download three books free and then you need a login.
