Just hit level 15!

I've been in Germany since early May and I have been seriously putting the skills I've learned on here to the test. I can definitely say Duo has helped me understand everything around me to a great extent. I have also started reading a book in Deutsch for the first time. Even though I still have to use a translator app while reading it, I can certainly say it's helping me drill words and grammar into my head. Being here has been a wonderful journey. I've visited cities such as Berlin, Dresden, and Cottbus. Beautiful places like Neuzelle, Spreewald, The Black Forest, and so much more.. The people, food, and culture here is absolutely incredible. I still have one more month here before flying back to the states. If any of you are able to take a trip to Germany in the future, I highly suggest it. It has helped my language abilities far more than Duo or any other program I've been using. Keep up the hard work! It will certainly make a difference!

If you have the time, a visit to the Brocken (by foot or by train) in the Harz region is worthwhile.

Just keep hitting the "strengthen skills" button. Or pick any lesson that has less than full strength and do the practice session. Each one will get you 10 XP.
