I would say, "on the coast"

"I'm on the shore" does not get accepted, but should be, I think. Reported.

Incorrect English - shouldn't be added

Okay, after consulting it again, removed.

Oversight, added.

"I am by the shore" is not accepted. Good enough?

What's the difference between wybrzeżu and plaża?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Jellei

"wybrzeże" is the coast, the shoreline, where a country borders with the sea.

"plaża" (a beach) can be located on the coast, but it can also generally be next to any bigger body of water, e.g. a river. We have a "plaża" in Warsaw, quite far from the sea.

The hint says "by the coast" – that's not totally wrong, but quite uncommon. It's usually "by the sea", but "on/at the coast" (a city is on the coast; people are at the coast).

Agreeed, removed the hint. The translation says "at the coast" anyway.
