Why is "I never see any waiters here" wrong?

It should be correct, I think, but maybe it's better translated as "Én itt soha nem látok egy pincért se."

Report it, use the "Report a problem" button ...

soha nem = never no, sounds double negative itt

"Soha nem" and "Soha sem" are not double negatives. Both expressions translates like "Never ever" and not word by word.

That is normal in Hungarian, not so in English.

How about 'I don't ever see any waiters here'?

That's a good translation too. :)

I don't see anything wrong with that translation. I believe it is a glitch. I noticed the same sentence used in the "Another translation" suggestion. There was a double space between two words. Likely a glitch.

You must be in the self service area. ;)

Ez igy teljesen rossz moNdat. Vagy múlt, vagy jövő időben használható csak. E.g.: Én itt soha nem láttam pincéreket. Or: Én itt soha nem fogok látni pincéreket.

Nem értek egyet, szerintem a jelen idő is simán használható.
