Please introduce the slow down version to this course too Duo..

Indeed. It would also be helpful to have the slow pronunciation for each individual word when you tap it, like in some other languages Duolingo offers.

One alternate translation could be "You want lunch?" Duolingo did not accept this as an answer.

It's not grammatically correct. Slang won't be accepted by duolingo.

Is the speed at which 'aruchat' is pronounced realistic?

I found this one impossible to catch at my beginner status. And I got it as a dictation.

I'm afraid so. The speaker is using a cadence that is slightly slower than what is normal for Israelis. Here's the problem: some basic terminology in Hebrew is lengthy and polysyllabic compared to English equivalents. It takes getting used to as the price of admission.

Hi, it would be helpful for this tonbe slowed down a little as the sounds of the individual words are running together and it is difficult to figure out which word is which. Thanks for everything.

It would also be nice if when you click on each word square it is vocalized as well. They do this in the Spanish lessons.

Is this literally saying midday meal?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/JayStanton

Yes - literally "meal of noon"

Why isn't "Do you want a lunch?" accepted?

This speed is way too fast. Could someone spell the sounds for us beginners, please!

Atah rotzeh ....
