Is there a reason that this couldn't be "I need something to do?" That's how I read it, but would that be better represented by "potrzebuję coś robić"?
I don't know how this relates to duolingo's "exact translation when possible " policy, but yes, in some context this sentence would be used.
Language purists say that we should not use "potrzebuję" before verb.
even if i copy and paste the answer the site don't accept, "I have to do something., I must do something." and the hints don't has the words
I'm sorry, did you put two answers at the same time? No, the algorithm won't consider it a correct answer...
I know I'm not going to get this answered for me just yet. But where is the line between this and potrzebuję, in comparison to Need and Have to in English. It seems subtly different in every European language I encounter
