what is the diff between rövid and alacsony? Is there is reason to prefer rövid?

  • Rövid = "Short" as in "Not long."
  • Alacsony = "Short" as in "Not tall."

How can one know if the specific airplane is not tall or not long? Arbitrary.

Usually the length of an airplane is more important to the speaker/listener than its height, so a "short plane" is more likely to be a not long one.

Also, buildings are often taller than they are long, but aeroplanes are longer than they are tall.

I guess Im just dumb because I legit had a mental image of a plane with little wheels and a low ceiling.
