The 'type what you hear' lessons can be quite fast, or is it just me? Like sometimes I cant even understand what shes said, but sometimes 20 re-listens will do the trick :P Is anyone else having this issue too?

For me - this is always the case when I first start learning a language. So feel assured you are not alone. And I have to listen really hard on slow speed. And I often take my written notes, to help prompt me. My own notes are the best - as they re-in-force things for me.
Yes it is a very common experience.
Also different languages often have sounds that are unique to that language, and of course combinations of sounds that are unique to that language. And all that takes time for your mind to learn.
It takes it time to hear, and even more time to learn how to produce. These are different tasks that the brain processes. One part to listen, and a different part of the brain to help control the production.

It is ever such an interesting adventure to learn !

I am not a native Hungarian speaker, but I am fairly advanced. To my ear, the spoken Hungarian in this course sounds excellent, natural, not too slow or fast, perfect pronunciation, etc.

I agree with lindakanga ... learning any new language, it always sounds like the native speakers are talking crazy-fast. You get used to it with time and practice, until eventually, it sounds normal to you, too.

Seems to be a bit fast, I agree, but if you check the Dutch course, this new male voice is speaking even faster :) But yeah, I know, Hungarian is way to special and different, with strange words. If you will meet a real Hungarian, he or she will speak slower...

I've actually found the audio for Hungarian to be quite good, and the listening exercises easier than some of the other courses I've tried. It sometimes takes a few replays to get it, but pronunciation has been the least frustrating part so far.

The rest of it remains incredibly challenging, though...
