Where can pedig be in this sentence?


I think that pedig has to be in front of the verb. I am not sure.


"míg a fiú sétál" "a fiú pedig gyalogol"

I consider these reasonable translations based on missing context in the original sentence. Is the driver waiting for the boy? Maybe the original English sentence could be made less ambiguous; it feel very contrived as written.


I find the sentence structure is a little confusing for me since i am used to English sentence structure where the wkords are spoken in the order in which they are meant to be processed.
