In English one would say "the committees are eating duck for dinner." The plural is implied and never stated.

What is the sense of such stupid sentences? Why aren't we taught everyday-sentences like "I would like to have three bread rolls, please." or "Can I pay with credit card?"

The requested translation is very poor English.
