Duolingo is the most popular way to learn languages in the world. Best of all, it's 100% free!

Improve the tree?

So the Esperanto tree is pretty good, but you can't seem to strengthen multiple lessons, and there is no word flashcards. Is there any plan to improve or extend the tree from the contributors?

there is no word flashcards.

Like for most of the 62 courses on Duolingo. See here "why".

strengthen multiple lessons, and [...] no word flashcards.. Is there any plan to improve [...] the tree from the contributors?

No, contributors can't do nothing about Strengthening nor about "non-existing" flashcards.

There is a plan to extend the tree with new lessons, possibly later in the year

Oups, I quoted the wrong part "Is there any plan [...] contributors?", I wanted to quote "strengthen multiple lessons".

I corrected that.

You can get the Esperanto word list and flashcards in the same way as I described for Hungarian here. You'll need to add a course that does have the 'Words' tab first, however (ES, FR, DE, IT or PT).

Here is the proof:

Why don't they just make them available then? Is it really any trouble to them?

Flashcards and word lists seem to work perfectly for all languages; I've no idea why they don't give all languages the 'words' tab. It doesn't require any customisation: all the information is already there; I can't see how it would be any trouble at all.
It's possible, however, that they're planning on doing away with 'words' altogether now they have released a new flashcards app. But I don't know any more than you; the worst thing about Duolingo is how little it communicates with its users.

The things you're asking about are not things the contributors can change.
