What is the difference between "lắng nghe" and "nghe thấy?"
Nghe thay is to have already done the listening and lang thay is you are listening
So...why is voi not required here as IT WAS ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED IN THE SAME CONTEXT IN OTHER LESSONS!!!

I don't think "người" is necessary but I think Duolingo is just trying to be consistent in its lessons
My vietnamese assistant told me that as well.
Lắng nghe is a more focused form of listening. More emphasis.
Could i have added "cho" after "lắng nghe"?
