Is there a difference between "bottle of wine" and "wine bottle" in Hebrew?
Well... You could play around with it, with variations like בקבוק יין, בקבוק של יין, בקבוק היין, and so on.
Baqbuq ha-yayin req.
Technically, if a bottle is empty, it cannot be a bottle of wine anymore :)
there is no 'the'?
The "the" is the "ה" before "יין".
ll "יין" = "wine".
ll "היין" = "the wine".
ll "בקבוק יין" = "a bottle of wine" or "a wine bottle".
ll "בקבוק היין" = "the bottle of wine" or "the wine bottle".
Last word of audio always chopped off. How is ריק pronounced?
Just empty.... Howd tha happenn
Are wine and alcohol allowed in Judaism ?
They are required.
Not entirely required; you can use grape juice
Maybe, but how much grape juice would you need until you can't tell the difference between "blessed is Mordechai and cursed is Haman"? :P
That's not actually a mitzvah, even though people would certain like for it to be
eg Deuteronomy 14:23-27 :-)
