I translated it as "why is the fridge door open?" and it showed as incorrect. Please, fix.

To say "the refrigerator door" do we not need the Hebrew to be "הדלת המקרר"

"refrigerator door" is also correct in English to express "the door of the refrigerator"

I wonder if the word "fridge" is in the dictionary. I was wrong on a question when I typed "grandma" and they only allowed "grandmother". I guess if they allowed all shorten english words, it would be too much.

It's much better to face this kind of thing with a sense of poise and rationality.

My family says "door to the fridge", does anyone else? That was marked incorrect, but I guess DL is probably right and I'm the one who's saying it wrong.
