the story with óvónők is getting more and more exciting

I promise you, these exciting sentences about kindergarten teachers just keep coming.

Maybe they will team up with the Mongolian judges who are smoking behind the railway station.

Hmmmm.......a mongol birók akik a pályaudvar mögött cigarettáznak

oh boy - you know you have been on here a while when you start trying to put words together hahaha

is it suggested that they are REALLY flying away and that we are never going to see them here again, or is it a wishful thinking? I am missing the short ugly lawyers.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/AlsEenPoffertje

The image this sentence evokes makes me happy.

Mary Poppins...

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/JohnWeber786406

She used an esernyo" to elrepül hahaha.

I hope they do fly away and are replaced with some job with a short translated name in English.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/BetsyLowe

Maybe the short ugly lawyers can run away with the flying kindergarten teachers....

Earlier they could also be nursery school teachers - but no more. The government regulations must have been tighened up.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/JohnWeber786406

Nursery school teachers have flight restrictions.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/PapaKarlo3

Of course the story with óvónők is getting more and more exciting!!!!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Lesleyne

"Nursery school teachers" please! It IS one of the options!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/BetsyLowe

You need to tell this to the team that makes the corrections, under the flag icon. They don't read these comments.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/bnyugat

There appears to be no team anymore. No suggestions to them have generated any changes in months and months... :-(

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/PeterByrne11

Can they please fly away and not come back?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/JohnWeber786406

And cause an educational crisis?!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Langopedia

Duo has a kindergarten teacher (óvónő) phobia!?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Arpad737071

The words required for the correct solution did not even show up in word boxes!!!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Judit294350

Don't use the boxes! You learn much more by pulling the words out of your head and typing them.

As a native speaker, I am doing this exercises merely for testing purposes, since I really care for my native language and wish to contribute to the course.
But, honestly, some/many sentences are driving me mad: they are so illogical and/or unnatural. And if a native speaker feels that way, I can imagine, how hard it is for those who are really learning Hungarian...

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/MartinKarnik

I respectfully disagree with your view Arpad737071. Words are basically pictures in our heads and the more bizarre or funny these pictures are, the more memorable individual words or grammar structures become. Therefore I think we need more of flying kindergarden teachers and short ugly lawyers in this course, not less.

Árpád is right to some aspect. Some of the examples are a bit awkward. I don't think it was about the kindergarten teachers, though. I visited family and my three-year-old nephew was frightened by a low flying airplane - and I almost called it a repülőgép!

What's wrong with "the kindergarten teachers jump up and fly away?"

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/susannah521123

They're not saying that they´re jumping up in the Hungarian sentence. (If they'd jump up, it would be felugranak.)

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Alan169059

But they don't accept 'jump and fly away' either.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Patricia460976

Ahhhh I see. Thanks.

Well the flock has to begin its flight somehow, doesn't it?
