Dude, I live in Türkiye and we don't understand Türkish lessons :P I think Türkish is good language, example "geleceğim" - "gel = come" "ecek - will" "im (ben) - im"

Merhaba,

At the moment I'm finding Turkish notoriously difficult to learn grammatically and reading this link and this quote uttered by Van Gogh himself has given me faith to continue with it and not give up! And when I came across some Azeri and Uzbek words, I could understand some of them! And that also has given me faith :)

I'm also taking up Arabic and I really want to take up Farsi too because I'm completely fascinated by languages very much different to mine (although it can be argued that Farsi is not that much different because it's an Indo-European language like English)!
