Mirinda response from Esperanto team
Yesterday I sent "my answer should be accepted" to the Esperanto team. The next morning there was an email that my suggestion was accepted. That is an amazingly quick response.
Thank you to all involved. Not just for this one thing but for the entire project.
I also noticed that the Esperanto team responds quickly to suggestions, including back in Beta when they were a lot more common.
“How does one say Hello in French” as a translation for “Kiel oni diras "Saluton" en la franca?” Before it required quotes around the "Hello". I objected since Duolingo, in my experience does not care about punctuation. Of course in real life they would be necessary in formal communication. It was very minor and I could easily have adjusted myself to using the quotes in that sentence but what can I say..."I'm lazy"
Oh nice , that does sound weird , you're right , punctuation is not really a big deal usually...
Yea , I thought about that and realized it was wrong , sometimes its proper usage just seems foggy to me when it comes to kio / kion , and words that start sentences , thanks .
