In English the "there" could make emphatic sense by using a comma after it: The yellow dog jumps there, under the table. As uf in answer to "where is that yellow dog, anyway?"
With the difference that it's not a "there" of place, but of movement. "Where is the dog going?"
Why alá and not alatt?
Because the dog hasn't been under the table but is now moving (through jumping) there.
Alatt should be considered correct too. Not just ala
