Well, the night being talked about here is one during the holiday. Hence, it’s really one or the other; either you are religious and stay up the night of Shavuot, or you aren’t religious, and don’t give a hoot about Shavuot at all. You don’t stay up in honor of the night of Shavuot... and then play video games anyway. It’s one or the other.
