So what's the difference between csinos and szép and gyönyörű? Are they all just different degrees of prettiness?
"Szép" is the general pretty/beautiful. "Gyönyörű" is very beautiful, gorgeous. "Csinos" is mostly used when a girl is dressed nicely, attractively.
Do any of the correspond to "cute"?
I would say not more than cute corresponds to pretty, nice, beautiful in English :D cute is aranyos, cuki (the latter is rather what kids say)
There we go. Gonna use that one tonight.
--------- and guys ? do guys get to be csinos ? . . .

Boys can be "csinos", too. For example if girls talk about them: "look at that cute guy"
"You are very beautiful" was rejected. What's the difference in English beween pretty and beautiful? None!
There might not be a difference in English, but in Hungarian there is: actually you can actively become "csinos" for example by dressing fancily.
Consider it more like "chick" - German "schick", than natural beauty.
It should take cute in this context, no?
So should “stylish “ not be correct?
