More article upload issues

Once again I find myself at an impasse in my efforts to translate my blog. I'm still unable to upload http://revdolphin.wordpress.com/2013/11/01/making-content-comprehensible-for-english-language-learners-echevarria-vogt-short/ without the filter insisting that I translate this English article to English. The last time I this issue I was assured that the problem would be solved in time for me to translate it before the end of February, and I keep trying every day or two and continue to encounter the same problem.

Now it freezes up anytime I try to upload my latest blog post http://revdolphin.wordpress.com/2014/02/01/teaching-in-2-languages-reyes-kleyn/ . [Edit: By freeze, I mean it is stuck on the following screen for more than an hour.]

Frozen Immersion Upload

I have been able to translate the remainder of my blog, but these two posts have one thing in common: I talk about my experiences learning Spanish. Perhaps the problem is stemming from the small amounts of Spanish text in each of the posts, confusing the filters as to the origin language.

I would like to suggest that, rather than having a filter detect the source language, why not let the user specify the source language? I have a feeling that would solve the problem for both of these articles.
