Can't comment using the mobile app

Hi, Recently I have not been able to comment using the mobile application. I've tried more than twice learning different languages. The comment session wasn't blocked nor the connection was lacking. I still couldn't be able to submit my comments to several threads. I haven't updated the application yet, I don't know if that's the problem but I'll do it as soon as possible. How can I fix it? Thanks.

The mobile app doesn't have the forums, and they most likely won't come. Try the browser on your device to get all of Duolingo's features.

OP probably means sentence discussions, which the Android app does in fact have.

However, for several months (for me) now the Android app has had a bug which means that while we can access the sentence discussions to read, users can not post either top level comments or replies.

That's happening to me also. If that's what they're talking about, I was wondering the same. It might have been an update or an A/B test.

I've been having the same issue for a while now. And I've been noticing quite a few posts about this issue. I wish they would at least give us some info about it. I have been wondering if they are thinking about removing them entirely.

That's exactly the issue. I assume it's an update flaw or something like that. I really hope they figure it out soon.
