Hello, I find it very useful for my learning to watch tv and movies in Spanish with subtitles (plus it's fun too!)
However, most of the content I find seems to be in English with Spanish subtitles, or vice versa, in Spanish with English subtitles. I tried searching for "subtitulado" and "con subtÃtulos".
Can anyone recommend any websites, youtube channels, search terms for me to use etc. ?

If you are in the United States, Netflix has added tons of Spanish-language content. Radio adalante is a good podcast with both spanish transcriptions and english translations.

Check this out: http://www.rtve.es/alacarta/videos/torres-en-la-cocina/
Sometimes the newest episodes don't have closed captioning, but all of the older ones do. Couple of caveats: it's Peninsular Spanish; some of the recipes are ... interesting.
Of course, you can explore the RTVE Web site and find lots of other shows, but most of them are unavailable in my area (the US).

RTVE is awesome. Luckily I can watch series on that web site. I love 'Olmos y Robles'. http://www.rtve.es/alacarta/videos/olmos-y-robles/ Feel free to browse around, there is a lot to choose from.
As someone else posted, the RTVE website is an excellent source for Spanish TV shows with Spanish subtitles: http://www.rtve.es/television/series-tve/
My favorites are: "El caso, cronica de sucesos" - a grizzled veteran reporter teams up with a smart young newbie to crack cases. A terrific show that was cancelled after just 13 episodes (FYI: in Spain, most TV episodes are about 70 minutes)
"El Ministerio del Tiempo" - probably the best RTVE show ever! A team of three agents - a 21st century nurse, a brilliant female university graduate from the 19th century, and a true "caballero" from the 16th century - goes back in time to "fix" history, to make sure that Spanish history happens the way it's supposed to. Two seasons, a total of 21 episodes, with a third season coming soon.
"El final del camino" - the story of three brothers in 11th century Santiago de Compostela (Galicia) set against the background of the construction of the city's cathedral. The show is chock-full of power struggles, treachery, betrayal, and medieval sword fights. I loved it! A limited series of eight episodes.
"La sonata del silencio" - the struggles of a once upper-class family in post-WWII Spain. The limited series (9 episodes) is very well done, but be advised, it's not a feel-good story.
"Victor Ros" - basically the Spanish Sherlock Holmes. If you like whodunits, you'll love this show. I really like the actor who plays Victor, and in the second season the actor who plays his son Juan. Two seasons with a total of 14 episodes. A third season is unlikely because the ratings were pretty low.
