A five hundred day streak? Where did that come from?
Yes folks, you heard that right, today marks my five hundred day streak!
P.S. I think that what you said is supposed to be one word. Set me straight if I am wrong ;)
Okay, I guess you "gutgemacht" me! Thanks.
P.S. Is that website a German dictionary?
The learning curve is endless! X-)
As far as I understand, Duden is THE German unilingual dictionary.
I really like LEO as well, because it's multilingual (German--English, German--French, German--Russian, etc.) and has many, many good definitions and examples, and even a discussion area with even more examples. It's so good I even sometimes use it when I'm translating between two languages that aren't German, just using it/German as an intermediate step.
Its surprising how quickly it goes, and the second 500 days will probably go even quicker. Congratulations.
Congratulations! How much has your German progressed between now and 500 days ago?
Quite a bit. What really helped me was the reverse tree.
Not long ago, I had my first (stilted) conversation with some native German speakers. I could understand enough of what they said to get the basic picture, and could respond. It wasn't perfect but it was so neat.
Congratulations!! Good luck with your continued language studies on Duolingo too!!
Do note that this is a very old comment.
I got so many lingots: 50 for the streak number and 30+ for the comment.
