Sgéilíní na Finne - a 1928 reader for Irish learners, with audio
I found this by accident while digging around the Sabhal Mòr Ostaig website:
The passages are short and all the audio files I checked were still working. The vocabulary is pretty topical and some might be a bit old-fashion but it should be a nice little challenge for people who are advancing in or have finished the Duolingo Irish course.
And yes, SMO is the Scottish Gaelic college in Skye, Scotland, but this reader is in Irish. I think at one time Ó Duibhín was teaching or studying there--not sure if he's associated with them anymore.
N.B.: It's an older page on SMO's site and old pages on their website have a tendency to disappear overnight when they update other pages. It's shame because they used to put up a lot more useful materials for learners than they do nowadays. Pretty much anything I find there that I think I might want to reference later on I make an offline copy somehow.
Go raibh mile maith agat! Some of my wife's ancestors probably came from there.
