It was very hard for me at first, but now I enjoy it. I also use Memrise for additional Turkish study . I do wish Turkish on Duolingo had more lessons.

Good luck and have fun.

I am fascinated with Turkish. The coding and decoding of sentences is very different than say English, and that makes it incredibly hard for me but at the same time it gives me a new perspective on grammar. Sometimes I get frustrated because I still don't have good listening skills, while other times I feel good because I am able to form my own sentences, even though a lot of effort is involved. And this being the first time I have learned a new language as an adult, I now have a better understanding as to what makes language learning such a long process.

I'm an adult myself. Late 20s and I find trouble with forming sentences sometimes in Turkish but other times I am proud I can pronounce it as best as I can =3. Keep up the good work and I know the feeling of this. I love languages though and find Turkish quite fascinating

What are you doing or plan to do with Turkish? I am watching Turkish TV series and when I have the money I will go to Turkey.

When you're fluent you might want to try their movies and series. They have the second largest tv film industry in the world and the quality is awesome.

I'm a language interpreter and I suppose I could interpret Turkish if I ever reach an 80% fluency/knowledge level, but that is definitely not the reason I'm learning it.
